Due to staffing and health reasons, the minimum stay during high season (July 3rd – August 30th) will be four nights starting from the 2026 season. Reservations are accepted for stays of seven nights or more. Guests traveling by motorcycle, bicycle, or on foot may still stay for one night.

Campsite Staufeneck is idyllically located on the banks of the Saalach river within a nature reserve in Piding. It offers pitches for vehicles up to 8m in length and a separate tent area for small tents. The family-run site is an ideal starting point for activities in the Berchtesgaden region.
