Zur Einrichtung des Platzes wurden Baggerarbeiten durchgeführt, der Platz wird noch etwas Zeit benötigen, bis er sich davon komplett erholt hat. Hin und wieder kann es auf Grund der Nähe eines Jugendzeltplatzes zu Lärmbeeinträchtigungen kommen.
Trekking-Camp "Zapfenglück" is idyllically situated in a spruce forest within the Neckartal-Odenwald Nature Park. It offers three simple tent pitches with a fire pit, seating, and a toilet facility for a nature-intensive overnight experience. Drinking water is available on site, but car access is not permitted.
