In die Wildnis is a secluded trekking site in the North Eifel Nature Park, dedicated to the life of Christopher McCandless. Located south of Dahlem at 580m above sea level, it offers hikers access to the Eifelschleifen 79 and 82. The site features a wooden platform for tents and a composting toilet, with open fires and waste disposal not permitted.
